A Family Business

Husband and wife, David and Anne, founded Celtheath back in 1990, having spent many years working within the UK furniture industry for the leading luxury furniture specialists Waring and Gillow. They recognised that there was a need for a customer focused furniture restoration and bespoke furniture manufacturing service within the hotel and leisure sectors.

This opportunity was rewarded within their first year of trading as they secured the prestigious contract to refurbish the furniture and upholstered fixtures for The Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, London.

Since then, this family-owned business has grown from strength to strength to become one of the UK’s market leaders in luxury upholstered furniture, premium reupholstery and holistic logistic solutions for the finest high-end hotels and restaurants.

In 2001 their daughter, Lizzie, joined the company to continue the family commitment to a long-term focus on their customers, employees, suppliers and the greater community, with her husband Chris joining the company in 2016 to expand and develop the contract furnishing sector of the business.
